DIRECTIONS:

From Exeter
You have two choices at Exeter. Take the A30 or the A38. The A38 may seem the more direct route, but it does involve bypassing Plymouth, the Tamar bridge and is not dual carriageway all the way, unlike the A30.

We would recommend that from the M5 at Exeter you take the A30, by-passing Okehampton. Some 15 miles after by-passing  Launceston (do not follow the signs for Liskeard) take the turning left signposted Bolentor and St.Neot (THIS IS ALSO THE TURNING FOR JAMAICA INN.) Before you get to Jamaica Inn, turn left signposted St.Cleer. Take care for the first few miles as it is narrow and winding, you are now driving down across south Bodmin Moor through the valley with the river Fowey on your left.

After about fifteen minutes you will arrive at a T-Junction in a hamlet called Redgate. Turn right towards Dobwalls and Liskeard. After about half a mile as you go down a hill there is a staggered junction. Trengale is the right turn which is signposted. Drive down this road carefully driving through Higher Trengale Farm, past Trengale Cottage and finally on the left is Lower Trengale Farm. Pull in to the parking in front of the cottages.

From Plymouth
If you are coming from Plymouth, go past Liskeard on the A38 towards Bodmin, 3 miles after the Liskeard turn, turn off left signposted Moorswater Industrial Estate, turning right at the T junction signposted Dobwalls. In a quarter of a mile turn right signposted Minions and Siblyback Water Park. Carry on along this road until you come to a T junction. Turn right and carry on up this road for ¾ of a mile past Orchards on your right and the Trengale turning is at the top of a long hill on the left. Drive down this road carefully driving through Higher Trengale Farm, past Trengale Cottage and finally on the left is Lower Trengale Farm. Pull in to the parking in front of the cottages.
